Life
should consist of both work and play!
Here
are a few pics from the "play" side of our summer:
Block
Island - Memorial Day Weekend

I
spent Memorial Day weekend in Block Island on my best friend's boat.
This is a pic of me and her son Hayden (Hayden is to the right..
a family friend is to the left)
Ashley's Graduation

Congratulations
to my cousin Ashley! She graduated from North Kingstown High School
this year and will be attending Rhode Island College in the Fall.
The
Air Show

This
was such a blast! We watched the air show from my best friend's
boat. I was swimming in the ocean when the fighter jets were flying
by. What a rush...

This
is my lifelong best friend, Jenn, and her family.

More
excitement from the Air Show...
Cat
Rescue
Rescuing
homeless and abandoned cats is one of my true passions in life.
My business and my life would not be the same without it. The non-profit
that I work with has provided vet care to literally hundreds of
cats this summer. I can't post all of our situations, but here is
an email that I received from one of our volunteers about a happy
rescue ending:
"This poot cat had been abandoned at an icecream parlor in
Warwick. Tame -- poor baby just sat there waiting for her people
to return. For weeks! During which time, of course, she starved.
In the photos below she has filled out from 2 weeks of eating at
my house... but you can still see how thin she is... anyway, she
was rescued and brought to me, and yesterday she was adopted to
a wonderful family! This once again shows that that wonderful things
DO happen....

Newport
Tennis Hall of Fame

We
sat front and center at the Newport Tennis Hall of Fame to watch
an exhibition match between Andre Agassi & Rod Laver and John
McEnroe & Tony Roche. Love this pic of Andre!

Johnny
McEnroe...

Tall
Ships 2004 - Newport, RI

It
was certainly foggy, but we wouldn't miss the Tall Ships when they
come to Newport!

My
relatives from Pennsylvania were in town that week to visit...
Edgartown,
Martha's Vineyard

Doug
and I had the most wonderful time in Martha's Vineyard this summer.
We visited Edgartown and Chappaquiddick.

Boston

Boston
is truly one of my favorite cities - Doug and I go to Boston quite
often. This is a picture of me standing in front of the "Statue
of Three Lies" at Harvard University in Cambridge.

We
had appetizers at the "Top of the Hub" - located at the
top of the Prudential Center. The views were absolutely amazing
that day!

Labor
Day Weekend with my cousin, John

My
cousin, John, came to visit us for Labor Day weekend. John is our
partner in www.SportsToSchool.com!

This
is me and John's wife, Kristin.

My
Mom, John, Kristin, Doug (from left to right in the photo) and I
(the photographer!) went to the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut for a
night of fun!
