Wow, a lot to report today! I have so much going on with my home based businesses right now, and I have so much to share with you. Please read through this entire newsletter - there's some great stuff here today.

I think my theme of the day today is "DIVERSITY."

Have you ever heard the saying, "Don't put all of your eggs in one basket?" You've probably heard that so much because it's absolutely true - especially when it refers to your income and how you MAKE MONEY.

I'm a firm believer that you should have a series of *different* home-based Internet businesses. Your first product and your first business are just the beginning.

As soon as possible, you should add new products, services, and promotions to generate additional streams of income. If sales slow down for one of your products, it is always nice to have something else in place to pick up the slack.

I started my first home based Internet business back in August 2000. I started with only one product, but that number quickly grew to four. With each product that I added, I saw a large increase in revenues. That experience taught me a valuable lesson about the benefits of multiple income streams, and I continue to build on it today.

After I sold my first Internet business, I quickly started another, and then another! I have different types of businesses, each targeting different types of people, and each generating income.

I will just list a few of my "biggies" here. Hopefully this will give you some idea of what real people are doing to make money from home using the Internet, and hopefully this will spark ideas of what you can do as well. And, remember, if you already have a business, think about adding a related product to your current line - it's the easiest place to start when shooting for multiple income streams.

I am thinking so much today about diversity and multiple income streams, because this past week, Doug and I have launched yet another home-based Internet business! I absolutely love the creation process. I love to put the website together, and officially launch each new business.

WebsitesAndUpgrades offers a low-cost web design service. I understand from personal experience how confusing and how EXPENSIVE it can be to get a functioning website up there on the Internet. It doesn't have to be that way! We offer the same fantastic web design results as many other companies, just at a reduced cost.

Of course my "favorite" online business is the one dedicated to selling my book, "Zero To Six Figures." http://www.ZeroToSixFigures.com . All of my other Internet businesses deal with information-based products, or digitally delivered products. In this case, I have a soft-covered 224 page book that tells the story of my first Internet business, and shows readers how to start *their own* businesses from home.

In a nutshell, SportsToSchool helps high school athletes get recruited to play sports in college. We take the opposite approach that recruiting services take. We believe that recruiting services don't work and are very expensive. Instead, we believe that high school athletes must take a pro-active role and get involved with the recruiting process. High school athletes must put themselves out there, contact college coaches themselves, and GET NOTICED.

We now have high school athletes in all 50 states and in 35 countries around the world using our service. The fact that we are helping kids get college scholarships is very rewarding.

In terms of building a business online and earning a living from it - there is no doubt. It is certainly possible. *You just need to take the initiative and create a product that your audience will need, and market, market, market!*

Not long ago, my cousin, John, came to me with the hopes of beginning a business from home. I immediately applied the 5-step formula I describe in my book, Zero To Six Figures. At the end of our conversation, SportsToSchool.com was born. Now it is a raging success story!

If you want to get your own business started online, don't delay. GO FOR IT!

If you already have a business online, add additional products, or consider beginning a new venture.

Don't put all of your eggs in one basket. Your ultimate goal should be to operate multiple businesses selling a variety of products.

*** Study on Paying For Traffic ***

I'm doing a study on paying for traffic. I've had a bit of experience with paying for traffic in the past, but I have never relied on paid advertising in all of my successful home-based Internet businesses… I've used a lot of other (cost-free) marketing techniques which I still use as the foundation of my marketing.

However, I want to find out if paying for traffic is another feasible option for "us Internet business junkies." :) Does it work? Are there actually sites out there that will send you "real" traffic at a reasonable cost?

I'm also enjoying the last month of my stay in Florida. (Because of my home-based Internet businesses, I'm able to escape the frigid Northeast by living in sunny south Florida for six months!) This past week, my husband and I went to a Boston Red Sox pre-season game, and the PGA Tour Honda Classic tournament. It was certainly a sports-filled week, and a lot of fun! I put up a few pictures in my journal…

Doug and I went to a Spring Training Camp game for the Boston Red Sex in Jupiter, FL. Not a lot of "big names" were at the game, but we got to see one of my favorites, Johnny Damon!

Certainly not one of my favorite players, but Kim was on the mound that day...

The Honda Classic - PGA Tournament at Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This is a picture of the Honda "floating" on the lake. I was going through a bit of withdrawal that day because I couldn't take pictures of the players on the course. Cameras were not allowed... I carry my digital camera EVERYWHERE I go :)

What a BEAUTIFUL course. I think we walked over 10 miles that day!
