I
can't believe that it's almost February already! I've been in Florida
now for three months, and time is flying.
Doug and I have
had M-A-N-Y visitors from Rhode Island since we've been here. It
certainly makes sense. I just went to the weather channel online:
Newport,
RI: 16 degrees, feels like 9 degrees
Juno Beach, FL: 81 degrees, feels like 85 degrees
Where's the
confusion? :)
On Saturday,
we all went to the "Concorso d'Eleganza" on the front
lawn of The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach for the Ferrari show -
The 13th Annual Palm Beach Cavallino Classic. It was amazing! There
were Ferrari's of all different varieties including the new Challenge
Stradale, the Enzo, the 575M Maranello, the 550 Barchetta, the 360
Spider, Modena, and GT. After, we sat by the pool until the sun
went down. It was a fantastic day.
And,
just because I'm in Florida for six months doesn't mean that I've
lost my love for the New England Patriots! WHAT A TEAM
Can't
wait until the Super Bowl this weekend. We watched the AFC Championship
game with a bunch of fellow-New Englanders. What a blast!
I have been
working a lot lately, that's for sure. Doug and I launched our new
web design service at The
Home Business People, and it's been keeping us
busy. We are offering low-cost web design for people who have home-based
businesses, and also for people who have traditional businesses.
We also set people up with web hosting and with the ability to take
credit cards at their websites if they require it. Here's one example
of a site that we have worked on so far: http://www.ModerneAge.com
More in a few
days
