Hello!
Its now February 17, and I am just about 2 months away
from going back home to Newport, RI. (Because of my
home-based Internet businesses, I'm able to escape the
frigid Northeast by living in south Florida for six
months!)
My Dad just left he was here vacationing for a week.
His trip included a drive up to Daytona last week for
the Daytona 500! It was my first NASCAR race we had
a blast. I put up a few pictures from the race and
from my Dads visit in my journal:

Part 3 An Audience For New Products

Today, I will continue with Part 3 of my series on the
importance of an Online Newsletter. If you missed

I truly believe that a free online newsletter is the
#1 most important advantage you can give yourself on
the Internet. Whether you 1) already have a home-based
business, 2) are looking to start one from scratch, or
3) have a traditional business - arming yourself with
a quality online newsletter will change your bottom
line forever.
Once people opt-in to your newsletter, your subsequent
emails are not annoying SPAM, but rather a welcome
source of information to your customers.
***That's the key! The subscribers have easily and
painlessly identified themselves and have agreed to be
contacted.***
Over the last few weeks, we discussed what an online
newsletter (e-zine) is, the purpose of a free newsletter,
and the benefits you will receive from it.
Today, I want to tell a story from personal experience.
When I first started my original home-based Internet
business, I had only one product to sell. I quickly
added a second. However, there was a longer gap between
the time I launched my third product.
I have mentioned before that your newsletter subscribers
are a wonderful, receptive audience for your product.
This is also true when you are introducing a *new*
product.
When you first establish your business, everything is
new. You are beginning from scratch and need time to
develop a reputation and a subscriber base.
The story is quite different when you are ready to
introduce a new product. You can capitalize on the
work you have already done and take advantage of the
reputation you have developed along the way.
When I introduced my third product with my original
business, I found myself in an entirely new position.
This time, I wasnt starting from scratch. I had an
active base of over 10,000 newsletter subscribers who
respected me and the information I presented to them
each week. So, instead of beginning fresh and seeking
new customers for my new product, I sent out an
announcement to my current newsletter subscribers
letting them know about my new product.
The results were fantastic and immediate. Within the
first week alone, I generated over $3,700 from my new
product!
I did not spend one dime on advertising, nor did I
spend any time marketing this product before I launched
it.
All I did was write a letter to my newsletter subscriber
base telling them about my new product, and I sent it
with one click of the mouse.
It was the same scenario when I launched my fourth
product. Again, I was able to establish a large,
immediate customer base by simply making an announcement
to my newsletter subscribers.
This is a clear example of the power of Internet marketing.
Take the time to build a newsletter subscriber list. It
is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your
business!
[ NOTE: Even if you dont have a product or business
established yet, you should still start your own online
newsletter. At the beginning, you will just provide your
subscribers with information. When you launch your
business and get your website up and running, you will
already have a group of people to announce it to! Dont
delay. Start your online newsletter and begin to
establish a reputation in the industry in which you are
looking to start your business.]
